THE LIFE-GIVING TOOLS (LGT) SERIES FOR EVERY LEADER

This is an in-house formation program for Leaders of Wesley Methodist Church KL,
in collaboration with ICM

LEADERS EDITION | JANUARY - OCTOBER 2026

Preamble: The Role of Small Groups in Wesley’s Discipling Process:

This was the rise of the United Society, first in Europe and then in America. Such a society is no other than “a company of men having the form and seeking power of godliness, united in order to pray together, to receive the word of exhortation and to watch over one another in love, that they may help each other work out their salvation.’ (Appendix 1: The General Rules of the Methodist Church)

The Goal of the LGT Series:

To equip every disciple and leader with basic life-giving tools in order to attend to their inner life for the purpose of spiritual growth and transformation towards Christlikeness. LGT introduces a rhythm and space that will deepen prayer life, polish listening skills, hone a discerning heart and cultivate a posture of attentiveness to God in everyday life. In doing so, leaders can grow in holding space and encourage the fostering a culture of watching over one another in love.
